Amount in dispute for Federal Court jurisdiction; current-account balance with contractually capitalized interest and foreign-currency claim. Interest that is, by agreement, added to capital during the running account forms part of the principal debt and is included in the value in dispute. For a claim payable in foreign currency or alternatively in francs at the exchange rate at payment time, the decisive value is the franc equivalent of the performance by which the debtor may discharge the obligation. If this value does not reach the statutory minimum, the Federal Court lacks jurisdiction and will not enter into the appeal.
