His brief statement that the respondent had accepted an allegedly prohibited mandate was not enough to challenge the cantonal judgment. Vu l'arrêt du 13 décembre 2013 par lequel la Cour d'appel civile du Tribunal cantonal du canton de Vaud a confirmé le jugement du 21 septembre 2012 au terme duquel la Cour civile du même Tribunal avait rejeté les conclusions prises par le demandeur A.________ à l'encontre de la défenderesse B.________ SA;
Vu la lettre du 24 mars 2014 dans laquelle le demandeur déclare recourir contre cet arrêt;
Vu les annexes à cette lettre;
Considérant que la simple manifestation de la volonté de recourir, telle qu'elle apparaît dans la lettre du recourant, ne satisfait nullement à l'exigence de motivation posée à l'art. 42 al. 2 LTF,
que la seule affirmation selon laquelle l'intimée aurait accepté "un mandat qui lui était interdit", mandat qu'elle n'aurait pas mené à bien, n'y satisfait pas davantage,
que le recours formé par A.________est, dès lors, manifestement irrecevable,
qu'il convient de constater la chose en appliquant la procédure simplifiée prévue par l'art. 108 al. 1 let. b LTF;
Considérant qu'il se justifie de mettre les frais judiciaires à la charge du recourant, en application de l'art. 66 al. 1 LTF,
que l'intimée n'a pas droit à des dépens puisqu'elle n'a pas été invitée à déposer une réponse,
N'entre pas en matière sur le recours.
Met les frais judiciaires, arrêtés à 500 fr., à la charge du recourant.
Communique le présent arrêt aux parties et à la Cour d'appel civile du Tribunal cantonal du canton de Vaud.
