A.________ SA appealed an international arbitral award rendered in Geneva but later withdrew its appeal by letter of 3 December 2012. The Swiss Federal Tribunal took note of the withdrawal and ordered the case struck off the docket. It also fixed reduced court costs at CHF 500 and imposed them on the appellant. The order was issued by the President of the First Civil Law Court, Judge Klett, with court clerk Huguenin.
Art. 32 al. 2 LTF, Art. 66 al. 2 LTF; withdrawal of an appeal in international arbitration: once the appellant unambiguously withdraws the appeal, the Federal Tribunal takes note of the withdrawal and strikes the matter from the docket. In such a situation, the proceedings are terminated without examination of the merits. The withdrawing party generally bears the reduced judicial costs.

que la recourante supporte les frais judiciaires réduits (art. 66 al. 2 LTF);
par ces motifs, la Présidente ordonne:

La cause est rayée du rôle par suite de retrait du recours.
2.
Les frais judiciaires, arrêtés à 500 fr., sont mis à la charge de la recourante.
3.
La présente ordonnance est communiquée aux parties et au Tribunal arbitral avec siège à Genève.

Whether the withdrawn appeal should be struck off the docket
The court took note of the withdrawal and ordered the case struck off the docket.
Once the appellant withdrew the appeal, there was no longer a dispute to adjudicate; the court therefore recorded the withdrawal and removed the case from the list under Art. 32(2) LTF.
Allocation of court costs after withdrawal of the appeal
Reduced judicial costs of CHF 500 were imposed on the appellant.
Because the appeal was withdrawn, the appellant had to bear the reduced court fees under Art. 66(2) LTF.
