The Court therefore discontinued the proceedings, cancelled the time limit for Y.________ AG's response, and ordered X.________ AG to pay reduced court costs of CHF 500 plus CHF 800 in party compensation to Y.________ AG.
Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG; withdrawal of an appeal terminates the federal proceedings by administrative closure. After withdrawal, the appeal is struck from the roll without examination on the merits. The withdrawing party ordinarily bears the reduced court costs under Art. 66 BGG and may be ordered to pay party compensation to the opposing party under Art. 68 Abs. 4 BGG; the amount is fixed according to the applicable costs regulation.

dass die Beschwerdeführerin mit Schreiben vom 15. Januar 2013 erklärte, sie ziehe ihre Beschwerde zurück;
dass das bundesgerichtliche Verfahren damit im Verfahren nach Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG abgeschrieben werden kann;
dass die reduzierten Gerichtskosten der Beschwerdeführerin aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 66 Abs. 2 und 3 BGG);
dass die Beschwerdeführerin die Beschwerdegegnerin, die sich zum Gesuch um aufschiebende Wirkung hat vernehmen lassen, für den durch das bundesgerichtliche Verfahren verursachten Aufwand zu entschädigen hat (Art. 66 Abs. 3 in Verbindung mit Art. 68 Abs. 4 BGG);
dass die Parteientschädigung in Anwendung von Art. 8 Abs. 3 des Reglementes über die Parteientschädigung vom 31. März 2006 (SR 173.110.210.3) auf Fr. 800.-- festzusetzen ist;
dass die der Beschwerdegegnerin bis 18. Februar 2013 angesetzte Frist zur Einreichung der Beschwerdeantwort abzunehmen ist;
verfügt die Präsidentin:

Das Verfahren wird infolge Rückzugs der Beschwerde abgeschrieben.

Die der Beschwerdegegnerin bis 18. Februar 2013 angesetzte Frist zur Einreichung der Beschwerdeantwort wird abgenommen.

Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 500.-- werden der Beschwerdeführerin auferlegt.

Die Beschwerdeführerin hat die Beschwerdegegnerin für das bundesgerichtliche Verfahren mit Fr. 800.-- zu entschädigen.

Diese Verfügung wird den Parteien und dem Kantonsgericht Schwyz, 1. Zivilkammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.

Whether the federal appeal should be discontinued after withdrawal
The proceedings were discontinued because the appellant withdrew the appeal.
Once the appellant declared the withdrawal, the Federal Supreme Court could strike the case from the docket under Art. 32(2) BGG.

Reduced court costs were imposed on the appellant.
Costs follow the withdrawal under Art. 66 BGG, with a reduced amount ordered.
Compensation for the respondent's costs in the federal proceedings
The appellant had to pay party compensation of CHF 800 to the respondent.
The respondent had participated on the interim relief issue and was entitled to compensation for the expenses caused by the federal proceedings; the amount was fixed under the costs regulation.
