The Federal Supreme Court rejected an application for revision of its earlier non-entry judgment of 6 August 2009. The applicant had argued only that Art. 108(1)(b) BGG had been applied incorrectly. The court held that such a complaint does not correspond to any of the exhaustively listed revision grounds in Arts. 121-123 BGG. The revision request was therefore dismissed, and court costs of CHF 500 were charged to the applicant.
Arts. 121-123 BGG; revision of a Federal Supreme Court judgment is admissible only on the exhaustively listed statutory grounds. A mere contention that the court incorrectly applied Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. b BGG in the earlier judgment does not constitute a revision ground, since revision may not serve to relitigate the legal assessment of the merits or the admissibility ruling. Where no statutory ground is invoked, the request must be dismissed; costs follow the outcome under Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG.

In Erwägung,
dass das Bundesgericht mit Urteil vom 6. August 2009 auf die vom Gesuchsteller gegen den Zirkulationsbeschluss des Kassationsgerichts des Kantons Zürich vom 19. Mai 2009 erhobene Beschwerde in Anwendung von Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. b BGG mangels hinreichender Begründung nicht eintrat;
dass der Gesuchsteller dem Bundesgericht eine vom 2. September 2009 datierte Eingabe einreichte, in der er erklärte, er ersuche um Revision des Urteils des Bundesgerichts vom 6. August 2009;
dass der Gesuchsteller zur Begründung seines Gesuchs sinngemäss vorbringt, dass das Bundesgericht zu Unrecht Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. b BGG angewendet habe;
dass mit einer solchen Rüge nach ständiger Praxis des Bundesgerichts keiner der im Gesetz (Art. 121 - 123 BGG) abschliessend aufgezählten Revisionsgründe geltend gemacht wird (Urteile 4F_3/2008 vom 21. April 2008 und 4F_3/2009 vom 6. April 2009), weshalb eine Revision des Urteils des Bundesgerichts vom 6. August 2009 ausser Betracht fällt;
dass die Gerichtskosten dem Gesuchsteller aufzuerlegen sind (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG);
erkennt das Bundesgericht:

Das Revisionsgesuch wird abgewiesen.
2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 500.-- werden dem Gesuchsteller auferlegt.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Kassationsgericht des Kantons Zürich schriftlich mitgeteilt.
