The Federal Supreme Court did not enter into the criminal appeal because it was filed out of time. Der Präsident zieht in Erwägung:

Gemäss Empfangsbestätigung wurde der angefochtene Entscheid dem Beschwerdeführer am 23. Juli 2008 ausgehändigt. Die Beschwerdefrist von Art. 100 Abs. 1 BGG lief folglich unter Berücksichtigung des Fristenstillstandes von Art. 46 Abs. 1 lit. b BGG bis Montag, den 15. September 2008. Die am 22. September 2008 der Post übergebene Beschwerde ist verspätet. Darauf ist im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.

Die Gerichtskosten sind dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG).
Demnach erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 800.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Kantonsgericht Freiburg, Strafappellationshof, schriftlich mitgeteilt.

The appeal was filed too late and therefore could not be considered.
