Das Kantonsgericht von Graubünden trat am 9. September 2013 auf eine Berufung nicht ein, weil der Beschwerdeführer das Rechtsmittel nicht gemäss Art. 399 Abs. 3 StPO erklärt hatte. Mit der Frage der unterbliebenen Berufungserklärung befasst sich der Beschwerdeführer in seiner Eingabe ans Bundesgericht nicht, weshalb diese keine Begründung enthält, wie sie von Art. 42 Abs. 2 BGG verlangt wird. Zur materiellen Seite des Falles kann sich das Bundesgericht nicht äussern, weil diese nicht Gegenstand des angefochtenen Entscheids ist. Auf die Beschwerde ist mangels einer tauglichen Begründung im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.
Die Gerichtskosten sind dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG). Das nachträglich sinngemäss gestellte Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege ist in Anwendung von Art. 64 BGG abzuweisen, weil die Rechtsbegehren aussichtslos erschienen. Der finanziellen Lage des Beschwerdeführers ist bei der Bemessung der Gerichtskosten Rechnung zu tragen (Art. 65 Abs. 2 BGG).
Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
Das Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege wird abgewiesen.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 500.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Kantonsgericht von Graubünden, I. Strafkammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
