The appellant withdrew her appeal against the judgment of the Ticino Social Insurance Court. The Federal Supreme Court, acting through a single judge, therefore struck the case from the docket and waived court costs. The decision was issued in writing and notified to the parties, the cantonal social insurance court, and the Federal Office of Social Insurance.
Art. 32 LTF; withdrawal of an appeal and striking the case from the docket; under Art. 32 LTF, withdrawn proceedings are removed from the roll by the single judge competent for summary disposal. In that context, the court also decides on costs. che con lettera del 23 maggio 2008 C.________ ha dichiarato di ritirare il ricorso in materia di diritto pubblico interposto il 27 febbraio 2008 (timbro postale) contro il giudizio 25 gennaio 2008 del Tribunale delle assicurazioni del Cantone Ticino,
considerando:
che di conseguenza la causa dev'essere stralciata dai ruoli (art. 32 cpv. LTF),
che il Presidente o il giudice dell'istruzione della Corte decide quale giudice unico circa lo stralcio dal ruolo delle cause ritirate (art. 32 cpv. 1 e 2 LTF) e, in tale ambito, statuisce sulle spese giudiziarie (art. 5 cpv. 2 PC in relazione con l'art. 71 LTF),
che, in caso di desistenza, il Tribunale federale può rinunciare in tutto o in parte a riscuotere le spese giudiziarie (art. 66 cpv. 2 LTF),
che nella fattispecie si può rinunciare a prelevare spese giudiziarie,
per questi motivi, il Giudice unico decreta:
1.
La causa è stralciata dai ruoli a seguito del ritiro del ricorso.
2.
Non si prelevano spese giudiziarie.
3.
Comunicazione alle parti, al Tribunale delle assicurazioni del Cantone Ticino e all'Ufficio federale delle assicurazioni sociali.
