The appellant withdrew her appeal against the Bern Administrative Court's judgment on supplementary benefits to AHV/IV. The Federal Supreme Court therefore discontinued the proceedings and removed the case from the docket. It also waived court costs in light of the circumstances. The order was communicated to the parties, the cantonal administrative court, and the Federal Social Insurance Office.
Art. 71 BGG in connection with Art. 73 Abs. 1 BZP; Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG; withdrawal of an appeal results in discontinuance of the Federal Supreme Court proceedings by removal from the docket. dass die Beschwerde gemäss Art. 71 BGG in Verbindung mit Art. 73 Abs. 1 BZP im Verfahren nach Art. 32 Abs. 2 BGG abzuschreiben ist,
dass in Anwendung von Art. 66 Abs. 2 BGG umständehalber auf die Erhebung von Gerichtskosten verzichtet wird,
verfügt der Präsident:

Das Verfahren wird infolge Rückzugs der Beschwerde abgeschrieben.

Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.
3.
Diese Verfügung wird den Parteien, dem Verwaltungsgericht des Kantons Bern, Sozialversicherungsrechtliche Abteilung, und dem Bundesamt für Sozialversicherungen schriftlich mitgeteilt.

The proceedings were struck off following the withdrawal of the appeal.
Under Art. 71 BGG in connection with Art. 73(1) BZP, the case had to be removed from the docket in the procedure under Art. 32(2) BGG once the appeal was withdrawn.
