The Federal Supreme Court noted the appellant cantonal disability insurance office's withdrawal of its appeal against the Geneva social-insurance court judgment of 19 May 2009. The President therefore ordered the case struck from the docket and imposed reduced judicial costs of CHF 200 on the appellant. The order was communicated to the parties, the cantonal court, and the Federal Social Insurance Office.

la lettre du 1er septembre 2009 par laquelle l'Office cantonal genevois de l'assurance-invalidité a déclaré retirer le recours interjeté le 2 juillet 2009 (timbre postal) contre un jugement du Tribunal cantonal des assurances sociales de la République et canton de Genève du 19 mai 2009,
considérant:
que la cause doit être rayée du rôle en application des art. 32 al. 2 et 71 LTF, en relation avec l'art. 73 al. 1 PCF;
qu'il convient, en application de l'art. 66 al. 2 LTF, de réduire les frais de justice à la charge du recourant,
par ces motifs, le Président ordonne:

La cause est radiée du rôle par suite de retrait du recours.
2.
Les frais judiciaires de 200 fr. sont mis à la charge du recourant.
3.
La présente ordonnance est communiquée aux parties, au Tribunal cantonal des assurances sociales de la République et canton de Genève et à l'Office fédéral des assurances sociales.

The case was removed from the docket because the appeal had been withdrawn.
A withdrawal of the appeal requires the proceedings to be struck out under the Federal Supreme Court Act and the Code of Civil Procedure provisions referred to by the Court.
How the court costs should be allocated after withdrawal.
Court costs of CHF 200 were imposed on the appellant, reduced under the applicable provision.
Because the appellant withdrew the appeal, it had to bear the judicial costs, which the President reduced in application of Art. 66(2) LTF.
