The appellant withdrew his appeal against the cantonal social-insurance judgment. The Federal Supreme Court, sitting with a single judge, removed the case from the docket. It also decided not to charge judicial costs. The order was notified to the parties, the cantonal social-insurance court, and the Federal Office of Public Health.
Art. 32 al. 2 LTF, in relation with Art. 71 LTF and Art. 73 al. 1 PCF; withdrawal of the appeal: upon valid withdrawal, the proceedings are removed from the roll. qu'il se justifie en appliquant l'art. 66 al. 2 LTF de statuer sans frais judiciaires,
par ces motifs, le Juge unique ordonne:

La cause est radiée du rôle par suite de retrait du recours.
2.
Il n'est pas perçu de frais judiciaires.
3.
La présente ordonnance est communiquée aux parties, au Tribunal cantonal du canton de Vaud, Cour des assurances sociales, et à l'Office fédéral de la santé publique.

Whether the appeal should be removed from the docket after withdrawal
The case was removed from the roll following the appellant's withdrawal of the appeal.
Once the appeal was withdrawn, the proceedings became moot and the case had to be struck from the docket under the Federal Supreme Court Act and the Code of Civil Procedure by analogy.
Whether court costs should be charged
No judicial costs were charged.
The court exercised its discretion under Art. 66 para. 2 LTF to decide the matter without court fees.
