G.________ appealed a Ticino social insurance judgment concerning employer liability under Art. 52 LAVS. After the Federal Tribunal invited him to pay an advance on costs, his counsel withdrew the appeal. The President of the II Social Law Court therefore ordered the case struck from the docket and waived court costs. The decision also ordered notification to the parties, the cantonal insurance court, the Federal Social Insurance Office, and counsel Roberta Zucca.
Art. 32 LTF; withdrawal of the appeal and removal from the docket; court costs may be waived in whole or in part upon withdrawal. A withdrawn appeal is struck from the roll by the president or instructing judge acting as single judge. In such a situation, the Federal Tribunal has discretion under Art. 66 cpv. 2 LTF to forgo the collection of judicial costs entirely; the allocation of costs is decided in the summary order on discontinuance (consid. 1).

Considerando:
che per atto consegnato alla posta il 2 ottobre 2007 G.________ ha interposto, con il patrocinio dell'avv. Maura Colombo, un ricorso avverso il giudizio pronunciato il 30 agosto 2007 dal Tribunale delle assicurazioni del Cantone Ticino in materia di responsabilità del datore di lavoro ai sensi dell'art. 52 LAVS,
che per decreto del 4 ottobre 2007 il Presidente della II Corte di diritto sociale del Tribunale federale ha invitato il ricorrente a versare un anticipo spese di fr. 8000.-,
che mediante scritto 8 ottobre 2007 della sua patrocinatrice, G.________ ha ritirato il ricorso,
che di conseguenza la causa dev'essere stralciata dai ruoli (art. 32 cpv. 2 LTF),
che il Presidente o il giudice dell'istruzione della Corte decide quale giudice unico circa lo stralcio dal ruolo delle cause ritirate (art. 32 cpv. 1 e 2 LTF) e, in tale ambito, statuisce sulle spese giudiziarie (art. 5 cpv. 2 PC in relazione con l'art. 71 LTF),
che, in caso di desistenza, il Tribunale federale può rinunciare in tutto o in parte a riscuotere le spese giudiziarie (art. 66 cpv. 2 LTF),
che nella fattispecie si può rinunciare a prelevare spese processuali,
per questi motivi, il Presidente decreta:

La causa 9C_692/2007 è stralciata dai ruoli a seguito del ritiro del ricorso.
2.
Non si percepiscono spese giudiziarie.
3.
Comunicazione alle parti, al Tribunale delle assicurazioni del Cantone Ticino, all'Ufficio federale delle assicurazioni sociali, all'avv. Roberta Zucca, e a S.________.
