The appellant withdrew his public-law appeal against the Geneva cantonal social insurance judgment of 29 June 2010. The Federal Supreme Court therefore struck the case from the docket and ordered that no judicial costs be levied. The order was issued by a single judge of the IIe Cour de droit social.
Art. 32 al. 2 LTF en relation avec Art. 71 LTF et Art. 73 al. 1 PCF; withdrawal of the appeal and removal from the docket. Where an appellant withdraws the appeal, the Federal Supreme Court strikes the case from the docket without examining the merits. In such a procedural termination, costs may be waived under Art. 66 al. 2 LTF; the court may decide without judicial fees.
