The appellant withdrew his administrative-law appeal against the Geneva cantonal AVS/AI decision. The Federal Insurance Court therefore struck case I 183/00 from the roll. It also ordered that no court costs be levied. The decision was notified to the parties, the cantonal commission, and the Federal Social Insurance Office.
Withdrawal of an administrative-law appeal; the proceedings are discontinued and the case is struck from the roll. In the absence of a live dispute after express withdrawal, the court no longer rules on the merits. par ces motifs, le Tribunal fédéral des assurances
prononce :
I. La cause I 183/00 est rayée du rôle ensuite du retrait
du recours.
II. Il n'est pas perçu de frais de justice.
III. Le présent arrêt sera communiqué aux parties, à la Commission cantonale genevoise en matière d'assurance-vieillesse, survivants et invalidité et à l'Office
fédéral des assurances sociales.
