The motion to dismiss pursuant to MCR 7.211(C)(2) is GRANTED for the reason that the
appeal is not within the Court of Appeals jurisdiction. The claim of appeal was not filed within 42 days
of the May 1, 2026 order appealed from as required by MCR 7.204(A)(2)(c) or within 42 days of entry of
an order denying a motion for new trial, for directed verdict of acquittal, or to correct an invalid sentence
as provided in MCR 7.204(A)(2)(d). Dismissal is without prejudice to the filing of a late appeal under
MCR 7.205(A)(4), provided such a filing meets all requirements under the court rules and is not time-
barred.
