After this case was remanded to the trial court for appointment of new counsel, we ordered
Appellee’s brief due on September 16, 2026. Appellee then filed a first motion for an extension of
time, and the deadline was extended to October 16, 2026. Appellee has now filed a second motion
requesting an extension of time to file his appellate brief. We GRANT the motion, and we ORDER

Appellee’s brief due no later than November 16, 2026. Absent extraordinary circumstances, further
request for extension of time will be disfavored.
