zur Änderung der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 2368/2002 des Rates zur Umsetzung des Zertifikationssystems des Kimberley-Prozesses für den internationalen Handel mit Rohdiamanten
DIE KOMMISSION DER EUROPÄISCHEN GEMEINSCHAFTEN —
gestützt auf den Vertrag zur Gründung der Europäischen Gemeinschaft,
gestützt auf die Verordnung (EG) Nr. 2368/2002 des Rates vom 20. Dezember 2002 zur Umsetzung des Zertifikationssystems des Kimberley-Prozesses für den internationalen Handel mit Rohdiamanten 1 , insbesondere auf die Artikel 19 und 20,
in Erwägung nachstehender Gründe:
(1) Der Vorsitz des Zertifikationssystems des Kimberley-Prozesses hat mit einer Bekanntmachung vom 3. Mai 2007 beschlossen, Liberia ab 4. Mai 2007 in die Liste der Teilnehmer aufzunehmen.
(2) Anhang II ist daher entsprechend zu ändern. Die spezifischen Bestimmungen der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 234/2004 des Rates vom 10. Februar 2004 über bestimmte restriktive Maßnahmen gegen Liberia und zur Aufhebung der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 1030/2003 2 bleiben von der Änderung des Anhangs II unberührt.
(3) Deutschland hat der Kommission Änderungen der Angaben zu seinen Gemeinschaftsbehörden mitgeteilt.
(4) Anhang III ist entsprechend zu ändern —
HAT FOLGENDE VERORDNUNG ERLASSEN:
Anhang II der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 2368/2002 wird durch Anhang I der vorliegenden Verordnung ersetzt.
Anhang III der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 2368/2002 wird durch Anhang II der vorliegenden Verordnung ersetzt.
Diese Verordnung tritt am Tag nach ihrer Veröffentlichung im Amtsblatt der Europäischen Union in Kraft.
Sie gilt mit Wirkung vom 4. Mai 2007.
