SUPPLEMENTARY ACT, SALE OF LAND FOR TAXES
                 Act of Jun. 11, 1879, P.L. 151, No. 160              Cl. 53
                               A SUPPLEMENT

     To an act, entitled "An act to amend an act directing the mode
        of selling unseated lands for taxes, and for other purposes,"
        approved the thirteenth day of March, one thousand eight
        hundred and fifteen, providing for special sales of such
        lands, where the same have not been sold by the treasurer at
        the last regular sales.

        Section 1.  Successors in office of treasurer to sell lands
     unsold
        Whenever any unseated lands shall have been duly advertised
     for sale by the county treasurer, in any of the counties of this
     Commonwealth, under and by virtue of the directions of the Act
     of March thirteenth, 1815, and the several supplements thereto,
     at the regular biennial sales, and shall remain unsold at and
     after the expiration of the term of office of the treasurer who
     advertised the same for sale, and when the treasurer so
     advertising the same shall have absconded, it shall be the duty
     of the successor in office of such treasurer to advertise and
     sell the lands so remaining unsold, on the second Monday of June
     of the year intervening between the said regular sales.  1879,

        Section 2.  Sale to be for same taxes previously advertised
        Said sale shall be for the same taxes (and none other) for
     which the said lands had been advertised to be sold at the said
     last preceding regular sale.  1879, June, 11, P.L. 151, Sec. 2.
        Section 3.  Manner of advertisement and sale in such cases
        The advertisement and sale herein directed shall be made in
     the same manner required and subject to the provisions of said
     Act of March 13, 1815, and its several supplements, except that
     the advertisement of sale shall be made in a newspaper published
     in the county, at least once a week for four successive weeks in
     the month of may; and the owners of said lands shall have the
     same right of redemption provided by the said act.  1879, June
