DELAWARE CANAL MUSEUM
                 Act of Nov. 25, 1970, P.L. 704, No. 228              Cl. 37
                                  AN ACT

     Authorizing the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission to
        enter into necessary agreements with the City of Easton and
        the Pennsylvania Canal Society to assist in the management,
        planning, and development of the Forks of the Delaware Canal
        Museum located in the City of Easton, Northampton County and
        further authorizing the commission to employ necessary
        personnel and contract for necessary services.

        The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     hereby enacts as follows:

        Section 1.  The Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission
     is hereby authorized to enter into agreements with the City of
     Easton and the Pennsylvania Canal Society to assist in
     management, planning, and development of the Forks of the
     Delaware Canal Museum located in the City of Easton.
        Section 2.  The Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission
     is hereby authorized to employ necessary personnel and to
     contract for essential services related to the management,
     planning and development of said Forks of the Delaware Canal
     Museum in accord with terms of said agreements with the City of
     Easton and the Pennsylvania Canal Society.
        Section 3.  This act shall take effect immediately.
