Relief of citizenship also applies to minor children who:
1. are under the parental care of the person relieved of citizenship;
2. are not resident in Switzerland; and
3. hold or have been assured of another nationality.
Minor children who are over the age of 16 years are only included in the relief of citizenship if they give their written consent.
