SEM is responsible for the security of the Information System and the legality of the processing of personal data.
The Federal Council shall regulate:
1. the organisation and operation of the system;
2. the catalogue of data for the systems and the extent of access rights granted to the authorities mentioned in Article 109h ;
3. the technical and organisational aspects of measures to prevent unauthorised processing;
4. the retention period for and the destruction of the data.
