The provisions governing mass redundancies apply equally to fixed-term employment relationships terminated prior to expiry of their agreed duration.
They do not apply in the event of cessation of business operations by court order or in the case of mass redundancies due to bankruptcy or under a composition agreement with assignment of assets.1
