The opposition must be submitted in two copies and must include:

  1. 1 the surname and first name or the company name, the address of the opposing party and, if applicable, their address for service in Switzerland;
  2. the number of the trade mark registration or the application number of the filed trade mark on which the opposition is based;
  3. the number of the disputed trade mark registration as well as the name or company name of the proprietor of the trade mark;
  4. a declaration of the extent of the opposition to the registration;
  5. a short statement of reasons for the opposition.
