Any person who intentionally causes serious danger to the life or the health of people or to the property of others by means of nuclear energy, radio-active substances or ionising radiation shall be liable to a custodial sentence or a monetary penalty.
If the offence is committed through negligence, a custodial sentence not exceeding five years or a monetary penalty shall be imposed.
