If a data subject credibly demonstrates that an exchange of personal data concerning them could violate the provisions on the protection of personal data, they may request the FDPIC to open an investigation pursuant to Article 49 FADP1.2
An investigation may only be opened against a federal authority that is under the supervision of the FDPIC.
The parties are the data subject and the federal authority against which the investigation has been opened.
