The Federal Council regulates:
- cooperation with the cantons;
- the data catalogue;
- responsibilities for data processing;
- access rights, specifically the scope of access granted in the call procedure;
- the organisational and technical measures necessary to ensure data protection and data security, specifically the conditions under which access can be granted;
- archiving;
- retention and deletion periods.
