Ein Standardteil ist ein Bauteil, welches vom Inhaber der Zulassung des Luftfahrzeuges, Triebwerkes, Propellers, Luftfahrzeug- oder Ausrüstungsteil, in dem das Bauteil verwendet werden soll, als ein solches bezeichnet wird. Standardteile müssen einem anerkannten Standard entsprechen. Als solche gelten insbesondere DIN, MIL Spec, AN, MS und NAS.
