  1. Providers of international telecommunications services or providers whose services might cause damaging interference shall have the status of «Recognised Operating Agencies» as defined in Article 19 of the International Telecommunication Union Convention of 22 December 19921(ITU Convention).
  2. The Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) may recognise as «Sector Members» (Article 19, ITU Convention) other telecommunications service providers and other organisations or institutions with a registered office or commercial activities in Switzerland if they guarantee that they fulfil the ITU’s requirements.2
