For each supply of narcotics, a delivery note must be issued and handed to the recipient with the product. The supply must be reported to Swissmedic separately. Exempted from the foregoing is dispensing by authorised medical professionals1for the treatment of persons and animals and to physicians in the same cantonal territory who do not dispense directly.
