Die Betreiberin der Hundedatenbank bewahrt die nach Artikel 17c Absatz 1 dieser Verordnung sowie die nach Artikel 74 Absatz 6 der Tierschutzverordnung vom 23. April 20081(TSchV) erhobenen Daten auf. Die Daten zum Hundehalter werden zehn Jahre nach dem Tod des letzten Hundes gelöscht.
