Nach der Wiederbesetzung wird der Betrieb während 30 Tagen behördlich überwacht. Nach diesem Zeitraum werden eine klinische Untersuchung und eine repräsentative Probenahme der Tiere gemäss den Vorgaben des zuständigen nationalen Referenzlaboratoriums durchgeführt.
