(Art. 7 para. 2 let. b ForA)¹

1. Compensation in kind may be dispensed with in particular in the case of crop rotation areas.²
2. Areas of particular ecological value are, in particular:
   1. biotopes in accordance with Article 18 paragraph 1^bisof the Federal Act of 1 July 1966³on the Protection of Nature and Cultural Heritage;
   2. areas designated as nature protection areas in accordance with Article 17 SPA⁴.
3. Areas of particular landscape value are, in particular:
   1. objects of national importance in accordance with the Ordinance of 10 August 1977⁵on the Federal Inventory of Landscapes and Natural Monuments of National Importance;
   2. mire landscapes of outstanding beauty and national importance in accordance with Article 24^sexiesparagraph 5 of the Federal Constitution of the Swiss Confederation⁶;
   3. areas designated as landscape protection zones in accordance with Article 17 SPA.
