The Swiss National Bank conducts the required statistical surveys:
- to fulfil its monetary policy tasks;
- 1 to fulfil its oversight tasks with respect to systemically important financial market infrastructures;
- within the context of its contribution to the stability of the Swiss financial system;
- on behalf of international organisations of which Switzerland is a member;
- for drawing up the balance of payments and the statistics on the international investment position.
