Considérant:

que, par arrêt du 23 octobre 2013, la IIe Cour d'appel civil du Tribunal cantonal du canton de Fribourg a déclaré irrecevable le recours interjeté le 26 août 2013 par A.________ contre la décision du 3 juillet 2013 du Président du Tribunal civil de l'arrondissement de la Sarine prononçant la mainlevée provisoire de l'opposition formée par le recourant au commandement de payer établi par l'Office des poursuites de la Sarine à l'instance de B.________, à concurrence de xxxx fr.;
que l'autorité précédente a constaté que l'avance de frais de xxx fr. requise par ordonnance du 10 septembre 2013, dans un délai de 10 jours, n'avait pas été versée, et que le délai supplémentaire pour effectuer l'avance de frais, octroyé par ordonnance du 27 septembre 2013, n'avait pas non plus été utilisé par le recourant;
que, par acte du 25 novembre 2013, A.________ exerce un recours constitutionnel subsidiaire au Tribunal fédéral contre cet arrêt;
que, dans son écriture, le recourant - qui expose son étonnement qu'un manquement au versement de l'avance de frais conduise à l'irrecevabilité du recours et allègue que le montant de ses débours équivalait à l'avance de frais sollicitée par le Tribunal cantonal -, n'invoque la violation d'aucun droit constitutionnel et, a fortiori, ne démontre pas de manière conforme aux exigences légales (art. 116, 117 et 106 al. 2 LTF; ATF 133 IV 286 consid. 1.4) en quoi l'arrêt cantonal consacrerait une telle violation;
que le recours doit dès lors être déclaré irrecevable selon la procédure simplifiée prévue aux art. 117 et 108 al. 1 let. b LTF;
que les frais judiciaires doivent être mis à la charge du recourant (art. 66 al. 1 LTF);

par ces motifs, le Président prononce:

Le recours est irrecevable.

2.

Les frais judiciaires, arrêtés à 300 fr., sont mis à la charge du recourant.

3.

Le présent arrêt est communiqué aux parties et à la IIe Cour d'appel civil au Tribunal cantonal du canton de Fribourg.
