Der Präsident zieht in Erwägung:

Dem Beschwerdeführer wurden mit Verfügungen vom 15. Dezember 2008 und 14. Januar 2009 eine Frist bis zum 9. Januar 2009 sowie eine Nachfrist bis zum 4. Februar 2009 angesetzt, um dem Bundesgericht einen Kostenvorschuss von Fr. 1'000.-- einzuzahlen, ansonsten auf das Rechtsmittel nicht eingetreten werde. Der Kostenvorschuss wurde innert Frist nicht geleistet. Auf die Beschwerde ist deshalb androhungsgemäss im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.

Die Gerichtskosten sind dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG).

Demnach erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.

2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 800.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.

3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Aargau, Beschwerdekammer in Strafsachen, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
