Der Präsident zieht in Erwägung:

Die Vorinstanz trat am 14. Januar 2014 auf die Berufung des Beschwerdeführers nicht ein, weil er die Frist zur Einreichung der Berufungserklärung unbenutzt verstreichen liess (Beschluss, S. 2).
Vor Bundesgericht befasst sich der Beschwerdeführer ausschliesslich mit der materiellen Seite der Angelegenheit, welche nicht Gegenstand des Verfahrens vor Vorinstanz war und worauf das Bundesgericht nicht eintreten kann. Zum formellen Grund, aus welchem die Vorinstanz auf sein kantonales Rechtsmittel nicht eintreten konnte, äussert sich der Beschwerdeführer nicht. Seine Eingabe vom 3. März 2014 genügt den Begründungsanforderungen von Art. 42 Abs. 2 BGG nicht. Auf die Beschwerde ist im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.

Dem Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege ist wegen Aussichtslosigkeit der Beschwerde nicht zu entsprechen (Art. 64 Abs. 1 BGG), ebenso wenig dem Begehren um Beigabe eines unentgeltlichen Rechtsbeistandes (Art. 64 Abs. 2 BGG), wozu schon angesichts des Ablaufs der Beschwerdefrist kein Anlass besteht. Ausnahmsweise ist von einer Kostenauflage abzusehen.

Demnach erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.

2.

Das Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege und Verbeiständung wird abgewiesen.

3.

Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.

4.

Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Aargau, Strafgericht, 2. Kammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
