Der Präsident zieht in Erwägung:

Der angefochtene Beschluss wurde am 21. Februar 2014 versandt und dem Beschwerdeführer am 22. Februar 2014 ins Postfach avisiert. Indessen holte er ihn auf der Post nicht ab. Der Entscheid gilt dennoch nach Ablauf der postalischen Abholfrist von sieben Tagen per 1. März 2014 als zugestellt. Die Frist für eine Beschwerde ans Bundesgericht lief am 31. März 2014 ab (Art. 100 Abs. 1 BGG). Die an die Vorinstanz gerichtete Eingabe vom 3. April 2014 kann zwar als Beschwerde ans Bundesgericht betrachtet werden. Sie ist indessen verspätet.

Der Beschwerdeführer macht in seiner Eingabe vom 3. April 2014 geltend, er habe mit der Sendung vom 21. Februar 2014 nicht rechnen müssen. Er sei viel unterwegs und warte nicht jeden Tag auf Post vom Gericht (act. 4). Das Vorbringen ist unbegründet. Der Beschwerdeführer hatte im Oktober 2013 Beschwerde erhoben. Damit begründete er ein Prozessrechtsverhältnis, welches ihn verpflichtete, sich nach Treu und Glauben zu verhalten und z.B. dafür zu sorgen, dass ihm gerichtliche Sendungen zugestellt werden können (BGE 138 III 225 E. 3.1). Wenige Monate nach Einreichung der Beschwerde musste er mit einer gewissen Wahrscheinlichkeit mit einer gerichtlichen Sendung rechnen. Wenn er die Vorinstanz nicht auf eine allfällige Abwesenheit aufmerksam machte und deshalb nicht erfuhr, dass eine gerichtliche Sendung im Postfach lagerte, hat er die Zustellung derselben schuldhaft verhindert.

Auf die verspätete Beschwerde ist im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.

Die Gerichtskosten sind dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG). Das Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege ist in Anwendung von Art. 64 BGG abzuweisen, weil die Rechtsbegehren aussichtslos erschienen. Der finanziellen Lage des Beschwerdeführers ist bei der Bemessung der Gerichtskosten Rechnung zu tragen (Art. 65 Abs. 2 BGG).

Demnach erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.

2.

Das Gesuch um unentgeltliche Rechtspflege wird abgewiesen.

3.

Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 500.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.

4.

Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Kantonsgericht Schwyz, Beschwerdekammer, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
