Considérant en fait et en droit:

Par arrêt du 18 juillet 2011, la Chambre des recours pénale du Tribunal cantonal vaudois a déclaré irrecevable le recours de X.________ à l'encontre de la décision sur opposition du 18 avril 2011 du Juge d'application des peines. X.________ interjette un recours en matière pénale contre l'arrêt cantonal.

En vertu de l'art. 42 al. 1 et 2 LTF, le recourant doit motiver son recours en exposant succinctement en quoi la décision attaquée viole le droit. En l'occurrence, X.________ se borne à contester le bien-fondé de la conversion en peine privative de liberté, des sanctions pécuniaires prises à son encontre, sans pour autant démontrer en quoi le prononcé d'irrecevabilité violerait le droit. Faute de satisfaire ainsi aux exigences de motivation, le recours doit être écarté en application de l'art. 108 al. 1 let. b LTF.

L'arrêt est exceptionnellement rendu sans frais (art. 66 al. 1 LTF).

Par ces motifs, le Juge unique prononce:

Le recours est irrecevable.

Il n'est pas prélevé de frais judiciaires.
