Der Präsident zieht in Erwägung:

Der Beschwerdeführer wurde mit Verfügung vom 11. Februar 2008 und in Anwendung von Art. 62 BGG aufgefordert, dem Bundesgericht spätestens am 3. März 2008 einen Kostenvorschuss von Fr. 2000.-- einzuzahlen. Mit Schreiben vom 27. Februar 2008 teilte er mit, dass er eine zusätzliche Frist von 30 Tagen benötige, weil er nicht in der Lage sei, den Kostenvorschuss in so kurzer Zeit aufzubringen. Mit Verfügung vom 28. Februar 2008 wurde ihm die in Art. 62 Abs. 3 Satz 2 BGG vorgesehene Nachfrist bis zum 14. April 2008 angesetzt, um den Kostenvorschuss zu bezahlen, ansonsten das Bundesgericht auf die Beschwerde nicht eintrete. Der Kostenvorschuss wurde nicht geleistet. Auf die Beschwerde ist androhungsgemäss im Verfahren nach Art. 108 BGG nicht einzutreten.

Die Gerichtskosten sind dem Beschwerdeführer aufzuerlegen (Art. 66 Abs. 1 BGG). Mit Schreiben vom 8. April 2008 wurde er ausdrücklich auf die Möglichkeit eines schriftlichen Rückzugs aufmerksam gemacht. Davon machte er keinen Gebrauch. Folglich kommt der Verzicht auf eine Kostenauflage nicht in Betracht. Der finanziellen Lage des Beschwerdeführers ist durch eine herabgesetzte Gerichtsgebühr Rechnung zu tragen (Art. 65 Abs. 2 BGG).
Demnach erkennt der Präsident:

Auf die Beschwerde wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Die Gerichtskosten von Fr. 500.-- werden dem Beschwerdeführer auferlegt.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien und dem Obergericht des Kantons Zug, Strafrechtliche Abteilung, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
