Considérant en fait et en droit:

Par arrêt du 22 septembre 2010, le Président du Tribunal neutre du canton de Vaud a déclaré irrecevable, pour cause d'épuisement des voies de recours, le pourvoi formé le 2 août 2010 par X.________ contre le jugement du Tribunal de police de l'arrondissement de Lausanne du 7 mai 2008 le condamnant - par défaut - pour diffamation. Par écriture du 20 octobre 2010, le condamné recourt au Tribunal fédéral contre l'arrêt cantonal.

En vertu de l'art. 42 al. 1 et 2 LTF, le recourant doit, à peine d'irrecevabilité (art. 108 al. 1 let. b LTF), motiver son recours en exposant succinctement en quoi la décision attaquée viole le droit. En l'occurrence, le recourant qui circonscrit son pourvoi à des griefs de fonds, ne se plaint pas de la non-entrée en matière de la cour cantonale. Ce faisant, il n'indique pas en quoi le raisonnement du Tribunal neutre serait critiquable et son jugement contraire au droit. Faute de satisfaire aux exigences de motivation de l'art. 42 LTF, le recours doit être écarté en application de l'art. 108 al. 1 let. b LTF.

Le recourant, qui succombe, doit supporter les frais de justice (art. 66 al. 1 LTF).
Par ces motifs, le Président prononce:

Le recours est irrecevable.

Les frais judiciaires, arrêtés à 500 fr., sont mis à la charge du recourant.

Le présent arrêt est communiqué aux parties et au Tribunal neutre du canton de Vaud.
