Omnilex summary

H.________ filed a complaint against the Solothurn cantonal insurance court’s judgment in unemployment insurance matters. The Federal Supreme Court found that the complaint did not satisfy the minimum requirements of Art. 42 BGG because it lacked a substantiated, case-specific reasoning engaging with the contested decision. In simplified procedure, the court therefore declined to enter into the complaint. It also waived court costs.

Omnilex headnote

Art. 42 Abs. 1 und 2 BGG; Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. b BGG; Art. 66 Abs. 1 Satz 2 BGG; requirements of reasoning for a federal complaint and non-entry in simplified procedure. A legal remedy must contain requests and a reasoned submission showing, in concise form, how the challenged decision infringes law. Mere dissatisfaction or an unsubstantial criticism of the lower-court reasoning does not meet this threshold. If the pleading fails to provide a sufficiently specific, matter-related engagement with the contested judgment, the Federal Supreme Court may refuse entry in simplified procedure. Where no entry is made, court costs may be waived pursuant to the applicable cost rule.

vom 31. Juli 2008.

Nach Einsicht

in die Beschwerde vom 13. September 2008 (Poststempel) gegen den Entscheid des Versicherungsgerichts des Kantons Solothurn vom 31. Juli 2008,

in Erwägung,
