in das Schreiben des Verwaltungsgerichts des Kantons Bern vom 7. Oktober 2010, mit welchem die Eingabe vom 6. Oktober 2010 dem Bundesgericht überwiesen wurde,
in Erwägung,
dass aus der Eingabe vom 6. Oktober 2010 nicht hinreichend klar hervorgeht, ob die Einlegerin gegen den kantonalen Entscheid 200 10 599 IV Beschwerde in öffentlich-rechtlichen Angelegenheiten führen will, wie das für eine materielle Beurteilung durch das Bundesgericht Voraussetzung ist,
dass dies offenbleiben kann, da die Eingabe vom 6. Oktober 2010 ohnehin nicht den in Art. 42 Abs. 1 und 2 BGG umschriebenen Mindestanforderungen an Begehren und Begründung einer Beschwerde in öffentlich-rechtlichen Angelegenheiten genügt,
dass nämlich den Ausführungen insbesondere nicht entnommen wer- den kann, inwiefern die Sachverhaltsfeststellungen im Sinne von Art. 97 Abs. 1 BGG - soweit überhaupt beanstandet - unzutreffend und die darauf beruhenden Erwägungen rechtsfehlerhaft sein sollen,
dass deshalb im vereinfachten Verfahren nach Art. 108 Abs. 1 lit. b und Abs. 2 BGG auf die vom Verwaltungsgericht übermittelte Eingabe nicht einzutreten ist und in Anwendung von Art. 66 Abs. 1 Satz 2 BGG auf die Erhebung von Gerichtskosten verzichtet wird,
erkennt die Einzelrichterin:

Auf die Eingabe wird nicht eingetreten.
2.
Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben.
3.
Dieses Urteil wird den Parteien, dem Verwaltungsgericht des Kantons Bern, Sozialversicherungsrechtliche Abteilung, und dem Bundesamt für Sozialversicherungen schriftlich mitgeteilt.
