PER CURIAM:
Marvin Edward Patrick appeals the district court’s order granting, in part, his 18
U.S.C. § 3582(c) motion for a sentence reduction based on the First Step Act of 2018, Pub.
L. No. 115-391, § 404, 132 Stat. 5194, 5222, and reducing his sentence from a life term to
360 months’ imprisonment. Patrick contends that the court misunderstood the scope of its
authority and erred by not further reducing his sentence. We have reviewed the record and
find no reversible error. Accordingly, we affirm the court’s order. See United States v.
Patrick, No. 2:05-cr-00016-D-1 (E.D.N.C. Dec. 23, 2020). We deny Patrick’s motion to
appoint counsel, and we dispense with oral argument because the facts and legal
contentions are adequately presented in the materials before this court and argument would
not aid the decisional process.
AFFIRMED
