O R D E R
Erika Jacobs appeals the dismissal of her case that concerned her employment at
Weiss Memorial Hospital during the summer of 2022. The district court had screened
and dismissed her first complaint, which contained undeveloped allegations against her

former employer, because she did not state legal claims or grounds for the court’s
subject-matter jurisdiction. See 28 U.S.C. § 1915(e)(2); F ED. R. C IV. P. 8(a). After Jacobs
amended her complaint—again without alleging a valid basis for jurisdiction—the
court dismissed it and gave her one more opportunity to amend. She did not do so, and
the court dismissed her case.
Jacobs asserts on appeal that she was not required to amend her complaint a
second time because her amended complaint had been “approved” by an unidentified
other judge. Jacobs supplies no further context for this assertion, but the two district
judges who handled her case both carefully explained to her that she could not proceed
until she stated proper grounds for jurisdiction.
We have considered Jacobs’s remaining arguments, but none merits discussion.
