PER CURIAM.
Demetrick Roberts appeals the district court’s1 dismissal of his complaint
against medical staff at the Muscatine County Jail. Having carefully reviewed the

record and the parties’ arguments on appeal, we conclude that the complaint failed
to state a claim. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 12(b)(6); Kulkay v. Roy, 847 F.3d 637, 641, 643
(8th Cir. 2017) (reviewing the failure to state a claim de novo and noting that
“deliberate indifference” requires more than “negligence or inadvertence”); see also
Christy v. Miulli, 692 N.W.2d 694, 702 (Iowa 2005) (explaining that equitable
estoppel requires “misrepresentation or concealment”). We accordingly affirm the
judgment of the district court. See 8th Cir. R. 47B.
