NO. 2026-K-0712
COURT OF APPEAL, FOURTH CIRCUIT
STATE OF LOUISIANA
STATE OF LOUISIANA
VERSUS
MILTON YOUNG
IN RE: MILTON YOUNG
APPLYING FOR: SUPERVISORY WRIT
DIRECTED TO: HONORABLE TRACEY FLEMINGS-DAVILLIER
CRIMINAL DISTRICT COURT ORLEANS PARISH
SECTION “B”, 656-750
WRIT DENIED
Relator, Milton Young, seeks supervisory review of the district court’s
September 1, 2026 ruling, which denied his “Motion to Suppress Statements.”
Relator’s writ application is denied on the showing made.1
1 Relator’s writ application did not contain the transcript of the June 30, 2026 hearing on
his Motion to Suppress Statements and did not contain all of the exhibits offered into evidence
during the aforementioned hearing. Accordingly, this Court ordered Relator to supplement his
writ application with same by October 13, 2026. Relator supplemented his writ application with
the transcript and some exhibits on October 13, 2026, as ordered, and untimely supplemented his
writ application with a video exhibit on October 14, 2026. However, the minute entry for the
hearing on Relator’s Motion to Suppress Statements reflects the State introduced a total of
seventeen exhibits at the hearing, and Relator has not provided this Court with all of those
exhibits as ordered.
