SUPERIOR COURT ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER 2021-07 RE: ADULT DRUG COURT PROGRAM – TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS Federal law protects the confidentiality of substance use disorder (SUD) treatment records. For over fifty (50) years, federal law has protected the privacy rights of people who seek treatment for substance use disorders from federally assisted programs. 42 USC § 290dd-2, 42 CFR Part 2. Given the confidential nature of Adult Drug Court Program cases, all transcript requests made by any person who is not a party to the case must be brought to the attention of the Adult Drug Court Magistrate.
