Chapter 21G Public Access

§21G-1 Purpose

The purpose of this chapter is to establish a permanent public access program to ensure improved public participation in the legislative process.

§21G-2 Public access room established

(a) There is established in the state capitol a public access room in which members of the public shall be allowed to utilize various equipment, services, and facilities to enhance their ability to participate in the legislative process.

(b) The public access room shall be maintained by the legislative reference bureau.

§21G-3 Legislative broadcast program established

[§21G-3] Legislative broadcast program established. (a) There is established in the state capitol a legislative broadcast program that shall become part of the legislature's permanent public access program.

(b) The legislative broadcast program shall be supervised by the joint legislative access committee established pursuant to section 21D-6.
