FAITHFUL PERFORMANCE ENTERED ON HIGHWAY CONTRACTS
                 Act of Mar. 28, 1872, P.L. 609, No. 558              Cl. 11
                                  AN ACT

     Requiring the chief commissioner of highways of the city of
        Philadelphia to have security entered into for the faithful
        performance of all contracts awarded by the highway
        department.

        Section 1.  Security from contractors on highway work
        From and after the passage of this act the chief commissioner
     of highways of the City of Philadelphia is hereby directed to
     have such security entered by contractors, for all work awarded
     to them by the highway department, as he may consider necessary
     to guarantee to said city the faithful performance of the
     conditions of said contracts. 1872, March 28, P.L. 609, Sec. 1.
