# RÈGLEMENT (CE) N o 1516/2004 DE LA COMMISSION

du 25 août 2004

modifiant le règlement (CE) n o 131/2004 du Conseil imposant certaines mesures restrictives à l'égard du Soudan

## Preamble

LA COMMISSION DES COMMUNAUTÉS EUROPÉENNES,

vu le traité instituant la Communauté européenne,

vu le règlement (CE) n o 131/2004 du Conseil du 26 janvier 2004 imposant certaines mesures restrictives à l'égard du Soudan [^1] , et notamment son article 7,

considérant ce qui suit:

**(1)** L'annexe du règlement (CE) n o 131/2004 fournit la liste des autorités compétentes chargées de tâches spécifiques liées à la mise en œuvre de ce règlement.

**(2)** Le 1 er mai 2004, la République tchèque, l'Estonie, Chypre, la Lettonie, la Lituanie, la Hongrie, Malte, la Pologne, la Slovénie et la Slovaquie ont adhéré à l'Union européenne. L’acte d’adhésion ne prévoit pas de dispositions concernant la modification de cette annexe.

**(3)** En conséquence, il y a lieu d’inclure les autorités compétentes des nouveaux États membres dans cette annexe à compter du 1 er mai 2004,

A ARRÊTÉ LE PRÉSENT RÈGLEMENT:

## **Article premier**

L'annexe du règlement (CE) n o 131/2004 est modifiée conformément à l'annexe du présent règlement.

## **Article 2**

Le présent règlement entre en vigueur le jour suivant celui de sa publication au *Journal officiel de l'Union européenne* .

Il est applicable à partir du 1 er mai 2004.

## Final provisions

Le présent règlement est obligatoire dans tous ses éléments et directement applicable dans tout État membre. Fait à Bruxelles, le 25 août 2004. *Par la Commission* Christopher PATTEN *Membre de la Commission*
